Create Project

This page allows the user to create a new project.

Kindly refer to 'Projects' page for the functionalities of this page.

Additional Functionality:

• In addition to the above-mentioned functionality, this page will have an additional field for book close – “Include Book Close”.

• If the user chose Yes, then book close module will be included. Else, this will not be included.

• If the project owner is ultimate parent, only then this book close field will be enabled.

• If the subsidiaries are the project owners, then the book close module will not be applicable.

• If the ultimate parent selects ‘Yes’ for ‘Include Book Close’, then in the setup section, Book Close will be shown and the user must choose for all the subsidiaries of this project, whether the book close is applicable or not.

• If any of the entity has unmapped GL code, then by default the Book Close module will be selected as ‘No’.

• If the corporate controller team creates a project, then the project will be viewed only by the ultimate parent company until it is approved by the corporate controller. Once it is approved, the subsidiaries under this project will be able to view the project.

• If the entity member creates a project, then the project will not be viewed by other subsidiaries until it is approved by the finance controller.
